Hôtel des Beaux Arts, caractère et éclectisme

Ce boutique-hôtel toulousain dévoile des chambres aux univers bien distincts, avec un panorama imprenable sur la Garonne ou le centre historique de la ville.

It would be hard to find a better location in Toulouse: two steps away from the Pont-Neuf bridge in the Carmes neighbourhood, the Hôtel des Beaux Arts is housed in an 18th-century building, which is a listed monument. The 18 pleasant rooms offer a spectacular view over the Garonne River and the city's historic centre. They have been arranged in a pictorial way and each reveals a unique thematic: "Icons", elegant in its sobriety, displays black and white portraits of David Bowie, Serge Gainsbourg and Catherine Deneuve. The "Maye" room was named after a street artist from Montpellier and, as the name suggests, "Tribute to Mondrian" bears the mark of famous early 20th-century Dutch painter Piet Mondrian, pioneer of Abstract art. Often decorated by upcoming artists, the rooms display various original art pieces. Bargain-hunt from your bed, who knows, you may make an impulse buy!
