This imposing red brick building is perfectly situated at the corner of Spring Street and Mercer Street in the hyped up district of SoHo.
The Mercer promises a memorable stay to all travellers who are sensitive to design. Because of its immense windows, high ceilings, and gigantic proportions that date to the building's origins as a warehouse, the Mercer gives you the impression of living in a loft, an urban experience par excellence here in New York. Christian Liaigre decorated the 75 apartments and chose wood, neutral fabrics, dark parquet floors, and walls of a pure white, with a drop of lilac in the leather of the couches. The loft style is found throughout, right into the bathrooms that are spacious and full of white marble and earthenware.
Thanks to the contribution of the legendary chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, the Franco-American cuisine served in the Mercer's Kitchen restaurant has made it one of the most famous dining establishments in the city.
