The Dolder Grand: more than a hotel, an art gallery

Immerse your senses in the Dolder Grand, with its superb views over Zurich, huge spa, and masterpiece paintings.

Located on the heights of Zurich, The Dolder Grand is an impressive and alluring palace. The historic building dates from 1899 and overlooks Zurich and Lake Zurich, with stunning views of the Alps and the surrounding forest.

Renovated in 2008 by renowned British architect Norman Foster, it consists of 175 rooms and suites, all very bright. Here everything is done to ensure an exceptional stay: the staff is very attentive, especially in the gourmet restaurant (two Michelin stars) and the impressive 4,000-square-metres spa with panoramic pool. The decor is magical. In the spacious lounge bar, where guests enjoy amazing cocktails that use tea (!) as a base, the chandeliers seem to float in the air.

Art lovers will also appreciate the many masterpieces more than 100 scattered throughout the hotel by such luminaries as Dalí, Pissaro, Warhol, Keith Haring, and Anish Kapoor.
