Russian cuisine revisited at Cococo

Russian cuisine revisited at Cococo

At Cococo, try Russian cuisine with a bistronomic twist.

Enter one of the finest restaurants in Saint Petersburg and set foot in a room with a subdued atmosphere. Chef Igor Grishechkin has concocted a most original menu that reinvents traditional Russian cuisine in a contemporary “bistronomy” style. In the kitchen, seasonal products from local farms are prepared with talent, which explains why the menu changes daily according to deliveries.
In your plate, you will find raw vegetables such as beetroot – not used often enough in modern cuisine –, a common theme on winter menus. Between familiar tastes and new flavours, the chef knows exactly what he is cooking. Traditional recipes are reworked, reinterpreted and revisited in an artistic manner. Try the beef tartare with goat cheese or fillet of beef prepared with small grilled onions and beetroot. To accompany your meal, a large selection of wines is available, unless you prefer one of their homemade alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages, with fresh and original flavours, including a pumpkin-based drink.
