Having cut his teeth at L'Arpege and La Marée in Paris, and at Spago in Beverly Hills, chef Michael Cimarusti has acquired all the technique and vision to create a sublime seafood menu. The spices may come from the five continents, but the fish and seafood platters are local, and of a rare quality: Arctic char, Kumamoto oysters from Washington State, wild Maine lobster and halibut.
Chef Cimarusti brings together a quest for perfection and outstanding creativity in his delectable and finely executed dishes. Three tasting menus shed light on the house specialities. The wine list is without reproach, intelligently offering nearly 30 wines by the glass. The decor is modern, except for the fishing nets on the walls a knowing nod to the restaurant's maritime orientation.
