If you love meat and unusual places, this is a must-try! If you prefer fish, rest assured the product quality is just as good!

Inside a 17th century-listed building, this spot is well worth a detour to visit. A former hospital, it was later transformed into a library then a bank. It is now Hutchesons' Hall, which offers a bar on the ground floor and a restaurant on part of the first floor. Before being seated, admire the genuine period high ceilings with sculpted mouldings and stained glass–a true masterpiece. Then discover a selective menu boasting local products from small producers.

For those with a large appetite, the well-known Chateaubriand is a hit–served for two, it weighs at least 1kg!–as well as the famous prime rib. You may also indulge in the must-try smoked salmon or sole meunière. You will find a very trendy bar on ground floor, with its ambiance as surprising as its cocktails, notably The Big Smoke, a Cherrywood Smoked Jameson Whisky, Lapsang Souchong and bitters-based beverage served in a misty manner, surrounded by a halo of smoke. A wonderful evening!
