El Club Allard: excellent and very select

Chef Diego Guerrero has turned this former club into a temple of Spanish gourmet cuisine.
Once a very exclusive club, El Club Allard became a temple of Spanish gastronomy in 2007, thanks to head chef Diego Guerrero, from the region of Alava, who officiated in the kitchen until 2013.
To seduce you, the Michelin two-starred El Club Allard lays on creative and highly technical cuisine combined in three menus: ‘Rendez-vous', ‘Seduction' and ‘Revolution'. The restaurant is located in a beautiful modernist building in the famous Casa Gallardo, designed by Federico Arias Rey and inaugurated in the early 20th century.
Be forewarned: because it is listed as a heritage building, there is no restaurant sign outside. The popular place regularly hosts art exhibitions, literary awards, and the Enrique Ponce bullfighter prize.
