Druckwasserwerk: an exceptional dining spot in a former water tower

Housed in a former water station, the Druckwasserwerk serves a traditional menu in an industrial setting.

Ideally located on the river, this trendy restaurant is as great looking inside as out. In fine weather, the terrace on the Main is jam-packed. In the evening, enjoy the scenery and this historic building with its high facade. Built in 1899 in a neo-Roman style, the red brick building is impressive for its height and volumes. It has kept its industrial spirit, with brick walls and blackened metal railings and dramatic, 13-metre high hanging red curtains. The contemporary and traditional menu is as varied as the clientele, featuring beef medallions with salmon from the fjords, a beetroot and basmati rice ratatouille, spätzle pasta in Roquefort cheese sauce and roasted onion… Whatever you choose, you will not regret coming to this outstanding restaurant that has been superbly restored.
