Cross the Andes on board the Tren Crucero

From the Ecuadorian Andes to the Pacific coast, travel as if in the 19th century, in a locomotive-pulled train.

Take your time to explore Ecuadorian landscapes on board a train. At the Eloy Alfaro station, you will settle in comfortably for four days of travel between Quito and Guayaquil, in a train car that recalls of railroad golden ages. In the heart of the Andes, you will make the best of the observation lounge pulled by a real locomotive. The train will stop to let you discover banana, sugarcane and rice plantations, as well as local fauna and flora inhabiting these heights, mountainous forests and seafronts. The cliff-side built railroad will take you through breathtaking panoramas, such as the “volcano avenue”, from which you will make out no less than 10 volcanic craters through the car's windows. In the course of these four days, passengers are invited to soak up Ecuadorian culture through close contact with locals. A truly unforgettable experience, far from traditional tours.
