Biscayne National Park: explore the sea-bed

This national park refuge is a respite from the bustle of Miami.

You can walk along the seashore at Convoy Point. But the best thing to do is to take a boat tour. Allow about three hours from the Dante Fascell Visitor Center. Through the glass-bottomed boat, you will discover the underwater flora and fauna.

You will see coral, as well as a thousand species of fish, lobsters, and crabs. It is an unforgettable experience that will make you feel like you are swimming in the turquoise sea.

Out of the water, you can witness a ballet of herons, cormorants, and pelicans spending their day diving for their lunch. Off in the distance are the forested Florida Keys. The landscape is magical, but do not forget that many ships have run aground on these coral reefs…
