The names of Astrid and Gaston Acurio have been known for a long time in Latin America and have now been exported abroad to places where the chef Gaston has opened superb restaurants. This son of a good family should have become a lawyer according to the wishes of his parents, but he now travels the world as a chef and flag-bearer of Peruvian cuisine and is emblematic of the renewal of the South American food scene.
His first Peruvian restaurant has been ranked No. 1 in the top 50 Latin American restaurants. The interior here is warm, with panels of hanging plants on grey walls and tables with soft lighting, hosting a chic clientele. Start with a traditional pisco sour, before moving to a ceviche, the house specialty, or opt for the incredible tasting menu to marvel at artistically presented dishes and great inventiveness. The service is both friendly and very professional. A great dining experience.
