Every year in early December, Miami gives itself over to art. This is also the time for unforgettable parties. Gallery owners and buyers from around the world throng the aisles of the modern and contemporary art fair, which, in a few short years, has become an essential event.
Last year, it attracted more than 70,000 visitors, mainly from South America and North America, as well as from Europe. The numbers are always going up. This little sister of the great Art Basel art fair was created in 2002. It has spawned a profusion of galleries in Miami, a city that is now considered an essential cross roads of art. Check it out, though perhaps not to buy, as prices are often sky high.
