British Museum: The American Dream: pop to the present

The last 6 decades have deeply changed the face of America. From the assassination of J.F.K. to the launch of Apollo 11 and AIDS, all these major events inspired contemporary American artists. Andy Warhol, Jasper Jones or Robert Rauschenberg have depicted their time and country in deeply meaningful works that were also clear statements. The exhibition offered by the British Museum displays drawings, engravings and various objects, and highlights the successes and failures of the American dream.

Design Museum: Imagine Moscow

London's Design Museum offers a previously unseen exhibition for the centennial of the Russian Revolution. Eight architectural projects (never realized) show another side of Moscow. An ideal vision of the Soviet capital, conveyed by architectural sketches on a large scale, as well as propaganda drawings and posters. Revolving around eight themes – collectivisation, urbanism, aviation, communication, industrialisation, community life and leisure –, these works show Moscow as it should have been in the 1920s and 1930s.
