Created by the Japanese chef Tetsuya Wakuda, Waku Ghin, located inside the Marina Bay Sands, has a modern and chic decor of wood and golden tones. The atmosphere plays with shadow and light in the middle of a spacious room.
Regularly cited as one of the best restaurants in Singapore and Asia, the menu presents ten unique creations, most based on seafood or Tasmanian beef. Other star ingredients are: Canadian lobster; Ohmiwagyu beef, a delicacy that melts on the tongue; and marinated botan shrimp accompanied by caviar. Each dish is presented subtly by a chef with nothing to hide, given that he cooks everything before your eyes. Book early: it is very popular and sometimes takes weeks to get a table.
