Tokyo by night: a ramble

exploration

‘Lost in Tokyo', or how to follow the mythical Scarlett Johansson through the well-lit Tokyo streets and get lost oneself until the end of the night.

This tour will let you follow in the footsteps of Charlotte, the heroine of the film Lost in Translation, because Tokyo is indeed beautiful at night. You'll drink your first sip of Japanese whiskey at the Fireking Café, with one elbow on the gleaming bar among the jet set of Tokyo.

In the famous Karaoke Kan, ask to sing in room 601 (with the window) and relive the scene where Sofia Coppola's heroine, in her pink wig, sings a Pretenders song with Bill Murray.

Afterwards, go down to the bar of La Jetée, located at the corner of electrical Shinjuku Street, Tokyo's red-light district. Since the owner, Tomoyo, is unbeatable when it comes to cinema trivia contests, it is no coincidence that La Jetée is one of the favourite haunts of filmmakers. Finish your night in the largest electro club in Tokyo, the Womb.
