The Wythe Hotel in Brooklyn

fashionable boutique

A former textile factory converted into a 70-room boutique hotel in Williamsburg.

You can't miss the Wythe building: the word ‘hotel' is displayed along the front corner of the building in 10-metre-high letters! The Wythe is in a former textile factory on the Brooklyn waterfront. The hotel has carefully preserved some of its original decor, such as brick walls, large windows, and metal structures.

Spacious and bright, the 70 rooms do not attempt to provide luxury but opt for rustic charm and modern comfort. Polished concrete floors and hand chosen furniture round out the look. The hotel attaches great importance to sustainable development it has wallpaper designed in the neighbourhood, beds made from reclaimed wood, and environmentally friendly bath products. The Ides rooftop bar, a glass cube on top of the building, is alone worth the visit. Savour your cocktail nestled on a couch, sitting on a stool, or lying on a sun lounger on the terrace. On the ground floor, the Reynard, held by renowned restaurateur Andrew Tarlow, serves seasonal dishes prepared from local ingredients and cooked over a wood fire.
