More or less random entertainment and cultural events give it its salt and serendipity. You almost never know beforehand what surprises await you along its seven kilometres.
White wooden pergolas and ample palms shade parts of the walk at regular intervals, so cool off in their shadows. Hats are a must, if only for the look. The palaces push out their facades and their magnificence to try, unsuccessfully, to distract you from the most exciting celebrity here, which is the sea itself. Take in the spray and the winds that come from the sea on the cool, blue chairs. Then day dream while contemplating the Mediterranean itself, your attention balanced on the thin thread of the horizon.
By the end of the day, so many visions will have come to illuminate your walk like the setting sun, whose rays seem to repaint the bay and the Nice sky in dreamy tones.
