The eternal Café de Flore

institution

Located in the literary district of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, this legendary Left Bank enclave of artists and intellectuals still amazes.

This historic lair is named after the famous sculpture of Flora, goddess of spring, located steps away. Guillaume Apollinaire, who lived on Boulevard Saint-Germain, made this his meeting place. In this sumptuous Art Deco room and on the spacious outdoor patio looking out at Boulevard Saint-Germain, celebrities, loyal locals, and tourists come and go, enjoying the palpable atmosphere of this legendary neighbourhood establishment.

Come here for the traditional hot chocolate, a house speciality, or enjoy a delicious glass of wine. For lunch, dinner, or a drink, Café de Flore is an institution of Parisian life.

Each year, Flore also hosts the Prix de Flore, created by writer Frédéric Beigbeder, which recognises young literary talent.
