Located about 30 minutes from Tel Aviv, the Design Museum Holon has been a delight for art lovers since it opened in 2010 on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the city.
An architectural jewel in itself, the building, designed and conceived by one of the leading figures in international design, Ron Arad (born in Tel Aviv in 1951), seduces with its bold curves and red palette of five sinuous ribbons of Corten steel, imported from Bergamo (Italy), with their varying degrees of erosion. Inside, let yourself be carried away by original and thematic exhibitions that are biased towards the creators of the 21st century, such as Iris van Herpen.
Israel's first museum to be entirely devoted to design, the DMH enjoys a strong international reputation that has made this community into a prime stop on the Tel Aviv tourist trail.
