At the heart of the Boston Center for the Arts, the Beehive offers a bohemian atmosphere with great jazz and cabaret programming. Its name comes from La Ruche, the iconic artist studio in Montparnasse in Paris, a hangout for many artists in the 20s, including Chagall and Léger.
The Beehive is a fashionable café des artistes, featuring live music almost every night of the week. The restaurant menu offers steak and fries, salmon from the Faroe Islands with quinoa, vegetarian couscous, oysters, tuna tartare, and tofu fritters, all of which go well with wines from all over the world.
