Singita Boulders: an extravagant lodge

lodge

Right next to Kruger Park, Singita is no hotel, but an authentic safari lodge ready to provide you with an experience only available in Africa.

Before becoming one of the most exclusive lodges in South Africa, Singita was a private home in the heart of the bush.

The concept: just a few beds in the largest possible surface area. Raised on stilts, 12 lodges of 100 square metres each overlook the Sabi Sand River, where, morning and evening, herds of elephants walk about on the sandbanks. The 12 suites combine contemporary safari style with luxury, while avoiding ostentation.

Inside, the living room, bedroom, and bathroom line up to form a graceful and sinuous flow, accented by fine woods, quality materials, and volcanic stones, while the exterior is built around a teak terrace. Everything here is ‘healthy and organic' save, perhaps, the extraordinary wine cellar of 3,000 bottles and 250 labels all set up for tastings. The romantic swimming pool, right under the trees, is also the setting where you will dine by candlelight. A stay here is one you will not soon forget!
