S.E.A. Aquarium: an aquatic dip in the seabeds of the world

aquarium

One of the largest aquariums in the world, the S.E.A. Aquarium provides a true window on the secrets of the underwater world.

Divided into ten zones where 49 marine habitats are presented, the diversity of species swimming before your eyes is absolutely mind-blowing. The Asian seabed, the warm waters of the Persian Gulf, the Red Sea, and the great lakes of Africa this is a journey to the heart of marine life.

You begin your journey in the company of the kings of the deep, and stopover in the sea of sharks. Then let your imagination wander to the magical panorama of the Open Ocean, where huge manta rays and other sea giants orchestrate a perfectly synchronous ballet with sawfish and giant groupers. In the waters of the Bay of Bengal, try to find the archerfish, which stun their prey by shooting a jet of water up to 50 centimetres above the surface. Then navigate to the Andaman Sea, where marine leopards and other predators swim under your feet. More than a visual experience, the aquarium also has a ‘Discovery Touch Pool' where you can caress the starfish.

Then finish your tour in the waters of the Strait of Karimata, where exotic trevally and other eccentrically shaped and coloured fish swim about in a giant sunken ship.
