One World Trade Center, known as the ‘Freedom Tower', is currently the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. Indeed, the tower is 541 metres high, including the antenna, and has 104 floors. While construction of the building was completed in 2013, it only opened to the general public in spring 2015.
One World Trade Center is part of the Ground Zero site, which includes the construction of six other skyscrapers. The observatory of the World Trade Center allows you to fly to the sky with a stunning development of new technologies, starting with the spectacular trip aboard one of five ‘skypods', which are ultra-fast lifts that propel you to the 102nd floor in less than 50 seconds. At 381 metres above sea level, the 360-degree panorama over the whole of Manhattan, including the Empire State Building and the New York Bay, is striking.
