The great Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer designed Brasilia's Mané Garrincha National stadium, one of the capital's landmark monuments. Entirely rebuilt between 2010 and 2013 to host the 2014 Fifa World Cup, the stadium has a capacity of 72,000 seats, making it the second largest in the country.
It is therefore logically chosen to welcome some games during the Olympic Football Tournament Rio 2016. You will feel the Olympic fever during, among others, Brazil-South Africa (August 4th), Brazil-Irak (August 7th) or Argentina-Honduras (August 10th)! Great football moments guaranteed in the host country of Football, already counting five FIFA World Cups, eight Copa Americas and two Fifa Confederations Cups under its belt!
