NOPI Restaurant: Mediterranean-inspired cooking north of the Channel

Sumptuous cuisine at one of the most in-vogue restaurants of London, Yotam Ottolenghi and his team are ‘serious about making people happy through our food'.

After developing a loyal customer base at his four Ottolenghi restaurants, as well as racking up additional fans with his many cookbooks, the talented Israeli chef Yotam Ottolenghi has elevated his bold Middle Eastern recipes to a more sophisticated level with NOPI, (short for North of Piccadilly). Since opening in 2011, this restaurant, located a five-minute walk from Piccadilly Circus station, has offered a delicious Mediterranean-inspired menu that evolves with the seasons.

Two atmospheres exist within the same institution: the upstairs is more formal than the downstairs dining room, which is composed of two large common tables that look onto the kitchens run by chef Ramael Scully.

Get ready to be surprised by a true festival of flavours and some sincere smiles from the staff. Open from breakfast onwards, NOPI also proposes pre-theatre dinners. Don't forget to specify when booking if you prefer to be upstairs or downstairs.
