Mulino di Firenze: recapture the spirit of Malaparte's Tuscany

Just 20 minutes outside of the city, amidst the beautiful hills of Chianti, this old mill offers another form of Tuscan bliss.

Only five kilometres separate Florence from this former mill, built in 1330, but it feels miles and centuries away. Located between the Val of Pisa and the Arno Valley, it still carries water from the river. Guests are luxuriously housed in the ancient wheat barns, and the suites offer spectacular comfort, with wrought-iron beds and lighting with bronze cherubs. The cool marble floors are a delight, as are the endless views of the countryside and the restaurant's exceptional cuisine.
