Mistura, Lima's International Gastronomic Fair

The world of Peruvian gastronomy gathers every year since 2008 to make its culinary specialities better known. It is an opportunity to meet with dozens of chefs and discover entirely new flavours.

Pisco sour, chicha morada and Inca Kola for drinks, ceviche, alpaca (lama) and traditional cuy (guinea pig) all are famous Peruvian specialities that have to be discovered on site. Even though Peruvian chefs are many to open up restaurants in trendy areas across European cities, Mistura shows how much this South-American cuisine knows a real interest and surprising revival.

Mistura has become the most important food festival of Latin America, and it brings together chefs, restaurants and producers on the immense beach of Magdalena del Mar. An original way to discover the habits and customs of Peruvian gastronomy in a pleasurable setting.
