Mediterranean cuisine at the Gandl Feinkost Speisen Bar

Pleasant service, tasty food, and a friendly ambiance characterise this neighbourhood spot, which combines classic French and Italian cuisine.

An Italian restaurant and delicatessen, located in an old grocery selling colonial products, the Gandl is a neighbourhood local that never empties.

You can stop there to read your morning newspaper while drinking a delicious coffee accompanied by an excellent pastry. At noon, you can enjoy home cooking with Mediterranean accents before checking out the bottles of balsamic vinegar, olive oils, and pasta packets on the shelves of this charming place, where the service is always friendly. Watch the incessant ballet of passers-by on the square or sit quietly in a rattan chair in a room decorated with photographs.

On the menu: herb-crusted monkfish, gazpacho, and hearty spaghetti Bolognese, with a nice selection of wines by the glass to accompany things. The brunch buffet, served on Saturday morning, is very popular.
