An iconic address in Nørrebro, the trendy, multicutural district of Copenhagen, Manfreds & Vin is both a gourmet restaurant and wine bar. It was also the first organic wine bar in Copenhagen. This same product/quality concern is reflected in the menu, because since 2013, the restaurant has been awarded ‘organic certification', which alone can ensure that what ends up on your plate and in your glass is 90-100% organic.
The cuisine of chef Christian Puglisi, whose impressive CV lists him as a former line chef at Noma and the current starred chef at Relæ, relies on a unique menu of five to seven locavore dishes. By bringing forgotten vegetables to the fore and working with what the chef finds every day at the market, Manfreds & Vin boldly reinvents Danish cuisine in an informal setting.
