A Greek island under the Miami sun: that's the feeling one has in this charming taverna housed in a lovely house from the 1940s.
A blue doorway, tavern chairs with blue legs, wooden tables, a garden where they grow organic tomatoes and herbs—everything here has a Mediterranean feel to it. Like the food: grilled fish and vegetables presented in a simple, almost rustic way, just as they are in a small villages in Greece or Turkey, where family and friends gather on Sunday to share the meal.
Ahmet Erkaya and his wife Anastasia love to please their customers by offering dishes from their home countries: tzatziki, hummus, grilled octopus, calamari, and meatballs. The wines all come from local independent producers.
