Make your credit card sizzle…

shopping

Miami Beach is not just about beaches. There's plenty of great shopping, too.

Lincoln Road is a wide pedestrian street, especially between Washington Avenue and Alton Road, where all the trendy shops are, both big names and smaller boutiques. If the Art Deco facades have been restored here as well, it's not only to admire them that everyone comes to Lincoln Road. They come to buy clothes, shoes, books, cosmetics…

Besides the inevitable international brands, you can also visit Victoria's Secret underwear (which, though famous elsewhere, is not very well-known in France). With your arms full of packages, take a break on one of the patios. For those with luxury tastes, have a look at Webster, the chic Collins Avenue boutique founded by Frenchwoman Laure Heriard-Dubreuil.

For bargains, go much further to Sawgrass Mills, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale where many factory outlets have opened. Ask your hotel concierge how to get there—you'll probably need a car.
