This is an address you should definitely visit, if only to enjoy a glass of wine at the bar from vineyards around the world while nibbling tapas. The show is best taken in from there as all of Rabat comes here, seated on the mezzanine or in the dining room with its open kitchen. The menu revisits the Parisian classics with Moroccan flavours.
Everything is excellent, from the foie gras with figs to the avocado mousse with shrimp and chickpea cream, which here has acquired an exquisite lightness. The beef tartar seems right out of the belly of old Les Halles in Paris. Be tempted by the Oualidia oysters and the wild tuna steak. For dessert, all the gourmets accustomed to this address appreciate the cheesecake and crepes Suzette, which recall the friendship Rabat bears for Paris.
