Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art offers a major graphic arts temporary exhibition with an original point of view about Iranian illustration through production for children. It presents more than 2,000 artworks and documents, including posters, religious images, news items, school and children books, animated films and documentaries.
It highlights the construction of an Iranian visual culture, from 1950 to 1980, and links it to Russian and Western creative influences. “Karnameh – Visual Culture of Iranian Children” draws a picture of the modern history of the Iranian society.
