Iguane Café: chef-driven cuisine

a must

There's no reason to hesitate at Café Iguana in Saint-François, the flavours are refined and the cuisine inventive.

Here is a place you will not forget, certainly one of the best restaurants on the island. Sylvain Sérouart is an emeritus chef and a master chef of France since 2012, awards that correspond to his subtle, evolving, and high-flying cuisine.

Always very fresh, the cuisine adapts to the available daily products especially things from the sea, his favourite focus. It must be said that, because you are in the islands, lobster and grouper abound. The menu is beautifully composed, offering classic dishes with Creole accents. Lobster ravioli or a filet of sea bass may follow marlin carpaccio or foie gras mi-cuit with a sweet potato compote.

Desserts are mouth-watering and include pineapple with vanilla pod. Your dinner experience here is excellent, the welcome warm and the decor colonial-inspired. In short, the perfect place for a romantic dinner or for a special occasion. Reservations are recommended.
