Go back in time and imagine the late 19th century when this hotel opened at the foot of the old town, at the corner of Prado and Neptuno streets. Totally renovated in 1911, this blue tapestried establishment was long considered the most modern in the city and one of the best hotels in Latin America.
A few minutes walk from the Museo de Bellas Artes, the Capitolio and Gran Teatro de La Habana, the Telegrafo is a haven of peace in the always lively neighbourhood. The inner courtyard, nestled under the original red brick vaults and with a section of wall in colourful ceramics exemplifies the colonial architecture of Havana. Have a drink at the bar or breakfast served buffet-style. The high-ceilinged rooms are bright and spacious.
