Hotel Riviera: back to the 1950s

A former Mafia hangout, this hotel has been relieved of its bad reputation, leaving only the best of its period design…

Inaugurated in 1957, this imposing building, with its classic 1950s glass facade, is a true architectural gem.

Just after its construction, it became a casino, which served as a meeting place for wealthy tourists and local punters, as well as the mob. The casino soon closed, but the hotel kept its vintage design. The gleaming lobby has armchairs in flashy colours, sleek, modernist sculptures, and a marble floor. The 1950s ambiance also reigns in the lobby bar and at the pool. Each of the hotel's 352 rooms is equipped with air conditioning, and the hotel works hard to add maximum comfort and luxury to the vintage spirit.

A perfect spot for modern-art lovers and those nostalgic for post-war Cuba.
