Four Seasons Casa Medina Bogota: a historical hotel

The Casa Medina re-opened in late 2015 and is a chic must for many travellers. Its colonial inspired architecture is the work of architect Santiago Medina Mejía.

This hotel gem under the Four Seasons flag is located in the Zona G, the financial and commercial district of Bogota, which is an ideal location for touring the city. This listed building with its magnificent facade known throughout the town, is now beautifully renovated and the success is unanimous.

Here, all the architectural pieces were restored and enhanced with more contemporary elements and design materials. Comfort is premium in the 62 spacious and luxurious rooms. Some have original fireplaces or wood carvings, and all are decorated in a warm style playing on harmonies using wood. Around the lobby and restaurant, the large wrought-iron staircase designed by the architect in 1946, remains an architectural splendour. Its line and envious curve draws glances as much as the new signature restaurant. Here the cuisine is Spanish, offered in an elegant dining room or on the terrace around the tapas bar. The luxury spa offers four massage rooms with many personalised treatments to ensure your total wellness, as well as high quality service.
