Distrito Capital: head in the sky

hot tip remarkable

Inaugurated in 2009, the Distrito Capital hotel occupies the top five floors of a skyscraper in the suburbs of Santa Fe.

French designer Joseph Dirand created a modern-style sanctuary in the Santa Fe suburbs of Mexico City, where impressive contemporary artworks stand out against black and white walls.

The 30 rooms and suites reveal high ceilings, vintage furniture, and scenic views over the rooftops of Mexico City. Everything has been thought through, including a docking station for digital music players and a video-game console.

The restaurant's chef, Enrique Olvera, serves contemporary Mexican cuisine, while the hotel bar attracts Mexico City's trendy crowd with its DJ and mezcal cocktails (drinks made with agave alcohol). A private cinema, swimming pool, outdoor lounge, solarium, and state-of-the-art fitness room are some of the luxurious amenities that will make your stay unforgettable.
