The restaurant is located on the rooftop of the wonderful, fully renovated Madrid City Hall, which dominates the Castellana. On summer evenings, the terrace is a must.
Chef Adolfo Muñoz, from Toledo, is the son of fruit and vegetable growers and, as such, he is a strong supporter of local products and their unadulterated flavours to the point where he sometimes does not salt dishes. At the head of a small food empire (several restaurants, a cooking and wine school, a bakery, a pastry shop, and Adolfo Colección, an upscale magazine dedicated to gourmet food), Muñoz also owns vineyards on the outskirts of Toledo (El Cigarral) and an olive grove.
