In 1928, Tao Kerefoff, exiled along with Prince Felix Yusupov, Rasputin's assassin, arrived in Calvi. Captivated by the singular beauty of this small town and desperately in love with Jeannette Maestracci, he decided to set-up here and so in 1935 created this, Corsica's first nightclub.
In this landmark 17th-century house, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren have maintained this magical, historical place, all the while respecting their ancestor's motto: ‘Be happy today for tomorrow will be too late.'
Every summer, personalities, regulars, and tourists flock to party, dance, and sing.
During your trip to Calvi, don't resist the unique atmosphere that emanates from this address, which will also charm you with its view of the bay.
