Chapultepec Park: another way

An ecological urban area of nearly 850 hectares, this park is a sanctuary from the bustle of the city.

An important natural reserve, this park is also a historic treasure. Explore the first of its three sections, the oldest and most popular, which houses the Museum of Anthropology, the zoo, the Museum of Modern Art and the thermal baths of Montezuma. Casa del Largo is a prominent cultural hangout that puts on free concerts, especially at the weekends.

Every Wednesday evening, tours by bike or small train are organised. It takes you to famous sites as well as little-known nooks. You will walk between the lakes, and see sublimely lit monuments and bubbling fountains. A guide and an experienced park warden animate this tour with songs, anecdotes, jokes, and love stories.

These tours take place from November until the end of March.
