Casa de Pasto: the culinary creativity of Diogo Noronha

unusual

Hidden in an apartment in the city centre, this is a must, both for its incredible scenery and its delicious dishes.

Casa de Pasto is decorated in a singular fin-de-siècle style: every corner is filled with antiques and garage-sale finds collected by the owner over the years.

The hand-painted plates, tiles, crucifixes, and plastic chickens (yes!) hanging on the walls or from the ceiling give the place a surreal atmosphere you will not find anywhere else in Lisbon. The chef Diogo Noronha offers a creative menu made with local specialties such as porco secreto, tuna steak with leeks and potatoes, and delicious costeletas de borrego (lamb chops).
