Full of rustic, authentic charm, the Café Restaurant du Parc des Bastions is housed in a old glassed-in kiosk. Around you, the elegant park stretches to the horizon. In summer, the terrace occupies the romantic promenade des Bastions in the shade of chestnut trees; in winter, a small lit-up ice rink animates the square with its echoes of yesteryear.
Between tradition and passion, the menu boldly follows the seasons, mixing flavours in sometimes unexpected compositions, such as whitefish fillets with artichokes and olives, beef with parmesan shavings, and truffled sea bream. This renowned table also serves local specialties. It is an opportunity to taste, for example, the Geneva longeole sausage with lentils.
Its big Sunday brunches are an institution in this city. The tables overflow with quality products like jams, various breads, fish, meats, cold cuts, fruits, cakes, etc. No need to hurry: time here is suspended.
