Blakes Hotel: a home away from home

A feast for the eyes and a delightful evasion away from the world.

Blakes Hotel is known for being the first boutique hotel in the world. Designed by the famous Anouska Hempel, a New Zealand actress who became a famous interior designer.

The greyish black facade sets it apart from its red or white neighbours in South Kensington, also known as the French Quarter. Inside, the style is very plush, sometimes dark, always neat, elegant, and a touch masculine. The Gypsy Room, the Cardinal Suite, and the Dorian Grey Suite will all let you make the most of your stay in London.

Within the hotel there is even a small mews dating from the 18th century, composed of several rooms. You can make it your private residence with friends or family. The quality of service is as exceptional as the decor. You'll love the outdoor courtyard, where there is a delightful little glass greenhouse for taking breakfast or an evening drink.
