Installed for ten years in the basement of Raamtin Residence Hotel, the Bistango is an establishment frequented by locals. A pioneer in offering international cuisine, it was opened by a young Iranian, Saman Jilanch, who was brought up in the United States and wanted to bring new life to the family hotel upon his return. He has imported a qualitative cuisine and know-how that was quite rare at the time, introducing a culinary revolution in this city, which was still largely turned in on itself.
At his side is an executive chef of Canadian origin, Larry Greenwood, who took up the challenge of recreating sauce dishes emblematic of Western cuisine without alcohol. Caesar salad, filet mignon, Cajun shrimp or fish curry; the offer is varied, extremely well presented, and served by a very caring staff. The restaurant is divided in two: a room in cream tones, that is rather classic, and a private room in blue tones, which can accommodate 20 guests for business dinners or private parties.
