The place is worth a visit just for the decor: a wooden facade and a bamboo terrace and, behind the large windows, the bright interior of the restaurant, filled with long tables d'hôtes and a large counter.
An avant-garde design for a fusion cuisine, where Brazilian dishes and European influences blend perfectly, all made from local products. Among the most successful dishes: spaghetti with fresh tomatoes and almonds; risotto with Grana Padano cheese; patanegra; Búzios Coast white shark served on mashed bananas da terra (plantains) with cucumber butter and coconut sauce.
Like the rest of the food, the list of desserts swings international, with tarte Tatin, Nutella crepes, and for a Brazilian touch, a stunning cupuaçu tart, made from the fragrant Amazonian fruit that is acidic and wildly flavorsome.
