Take the two-and-a-half-hour drive from Seoul and visit this festival, which is unique in the world and held every year in the month of July. Once you arrive, you will have a plethora of choices, from therapeutic massages using mud that to gigantic collective slides on the beach of Daecheon, the longest of all those on the west coast of South Korea.
The mud is rich in minerals and is excellent for the skin. If you decide to participate, think of bringing a bathing suit that may be from last season and not your favourite. Because, make no mistake, you will, indeed, be covered with mud from head to toe!
