A Canoe on the roof

gastronomy

On the 54th floor of the TD Bank Tower, Canoe is a flagship institution of gastronomy in Toronto, with a breath taking panorama over the city.

Canoe has reigned supreme on the Toronto restaurant scene for more than a decade. The restaurant has recently undergone a several-million-dollar renovation and now offers resolutely contemporary and minimalist dining.

In the kitchen, the multi-award-winning chefs John Horne and Coulson Armstrong harmoniously combining French and Canadian culinary techniques have taken over the inventive and sophisticated stoves of Anthony Walsh, and are dedicated to Canadian specialities and local, seasonal ingredients. Discover Quebec foie gras with wild berries, Ontario peanuts, and toasted brioche. Or maple leaves, picked green and then marinated and fried.

The Canoe also offers a most generous tasting menu, which is a great way to discover, with a group of friends, the subtle flavours and textures designed by the two chefs.
