If Mumbai embodies the Bollywood dream of big studio productions for Indian cinema, Delhi and its cosmopolitan nature managed to make a case for cinema in all its glory with the Delhi International Film Festival, an event of international calibre born in 2012 on the 100th anniversary of Indian cinema.
In 2016, the 5th edition will program 250 films from all around the world, as well as a selection of art and literary works from Indian poets.
Among the many films that will screen at the heart of the Indian capital in Connaught Place, short films, documentaries and animated movies will offer a different way to discover the eclectic world of cinema.
