Traveling with Alitalia

At the airport

Are you traveling in the Business cabin? Are you a Flying Blue Gold or Platinum member? In both of these cases, you can enjoy privileged access to Alitalia lounges.

Check-in and baggage
You can check in and obtain your boarding pass:
  • online, on the Alitalia website, or on the Air France website for flights departing from Paris,
  • at the airport, at a check-in counter or using an interactive kiosk.

Your baggage
  • For checked baggage: the baggage allowance is indicated on your ticket. If you exceed this allowance or if you are carrying special baggage or animals, our partner airline's rules apply.
  • For hand baggage: our partner airline's rules apply. They may be different from Air France's rules.

On board
On certain flights to Europe, Alitalia offers a single cabin.
In the Business cabin and on intercontinental flights, infants under 2 years of age may not travel on a parent's lap. You must purchase an additional seat and use a car seat for your child.

Please select a flight provided by Air France or contact our partner airline to take advantage of the following services:
  • Medical assistance.
  • Transport of medical oxygen.
  • Use of a stretcher.

Alitalia does not offer the Economy Flex fare advantage indicated below:
  • Flight changes at no extra charge when arriving early at the airport.
